Cliff rescue last night

Welshpool Police officers assisted in the rescue of a man who had fallen at Llanymynech Rocks yesterday evening.

The incident happened as the light was fading on the famous local landmark, and police officers assisted members from the Welsh Ambulance Service in reaching the man and transferring him to an Air Ambulance who took him to hospital.

The man’s condition is not known this morning.
