Explore a Trail inspired by nature

Local wildlife enthusiasts are in for a treat this summer with the launch of a new Retreat Trail, a Summer exhibition of nature inspired art and craft work created by young people and adults in the Welshpool area.

Funded by Arwain, a Welsh Assembly/Powys County Council grant, participants worked with local artists during the winter months, learning a variety of skills and techniques whilst forming new friendships.

The trail winds its way through four different sites through Welshpool to the Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust nature reserve at Severn Farm Pond.

This trail forms part of the Trust’s Art Oasis project, which aims to bring people and the arts together in exciting ways, to encourage us all to think positively about the natural world.
