Yours for a cool £5m

We’ve always known that the Welshpool area is a desirable place to live, but this real estate opportunity takes it to a whole new level!

It's the most expensive home currently on the market in Wales and at a cool £5 million you could also own 15 converted farm outbuildings, land and business potential on the outskirts of the town.

Wales Online is reporting that the main property is a handsome Georgian house called The Moors (pictured). And along with it comes a complex of 15 converted former barns and buildings called Sheppards Barns.

There’s a road-side plot of approximately 3.4 acres with a pre-planning application for development into a commercial business.

There’s also 18 acres of countryside, on an elevated plot overlooking the western side of the Montgomeryshire Canal with business potential.

Belinda Hutchinson-Smith, director at estate agent Strutt & Parker Shrewsbury who are selling the property package, said: “It's a very unique property for us to be selling because of its variables, from residential to commercial, there are so many different factors and opportunities to it. I’ve never sold anything like this before.”

The main mansion has eight en suite bedrooms, and is currently being run as a bed and breakfast.
