Welshpool warning over rogue traders

Welshpool Police have issued a warning for residents to be wary of rogue traders currently operating in the area.

In a Twitter post, the force said: “Rogue traders have been active in the Welshpool area recently, resulting in unnecessary and overpriced work being carried out.”

They have urged the community to help them by “keeping an eye on elderly relatives and neighbours” and to report any suspicious activity to Trading Standards on 08454040506 or Dyfed-Powys Police on 101.
