Welshpool man killed in quad bike accident

A 65-year-old Welshpool man died in a quad bike accident near Llanfyllin yesterday (Tuesday).

The man, who has not yet been named by the authorities died at the scene of the incident. Dyfed Powys Police issued the following statement:

“Dyfed-Powys Police was alerted to a collision involving a single quad bike on private land near Llanfyllin, shortly after 3pm on Tuesday, February 12. Sadly, a 65-year-old man from the Welshpool area died as a result of his injuries.

“His family is aware. The death is not being treated as suspicious.”
