Buttington crash, cancelled trains causing havoc

There’s double trouble for commuters in the Welshpool area this morning.

MyWelshpool viewers are reporting road traffic delays at Buttington following a crash near the Green Dragon and there are problems for rail travellers too.

A vehicle has struck a railway bridge at Shrewsbury meaning that trains from Welshpool are cancelled. It is understood that a bus service will replace the trains until at least lunchtime.
