The lads are at it again!
Talented local musician Steve Edwards and his slick lyricist Paul Alexander have penned another ode to Welshpool called ‘Y Trallwng’, following hot on the heels of a couple of locally themed smash hits over recent years.
The ‘single’ went live at noon Saturday and it is expected to become a local viral success.
The pair aren’t letting success go to their heads though. When MyWelshpool tried to contact Paul, of Alexander’s fame, this morning he told us: “I am a bit busy this morning, sorry, I’m just about to deliver a load of logs to a woman on the other side of Cyfronydd.”
But Steve was able to tell us: “As usual, the real talent is in the lyrics, and credit goes entirely to Paul for them. Recording these at home is a challenge in itself, but being an Englishman having to sing ‘Y Trallwng’ multiple times has tested me to the max!
“Also, close examination of my Google search history might raise some eyebrows after looking for photos for the video!”
