Welshpool McDonalds plans submitted
Plans have been submitted to Powys County Council this week for the erection of a restaurant with drive-thru facility, car parking, customer order displays and all associated works.
It appears to be a carbon copy of the facility in Newtown and will be located out of town next to Buttington roundabout, the same spot where Welshpool Town Council recommended to refuse a similar application earlier this year.
That was for an unnamed fast food restaurant, which was rumoured to be McDonalds who appear to have listened to concerns and have now submitted new plans in their own name.
