Town Council announces big summer event

As the gloom surrounding Covid-19 continues to lift, Welshpool Town Council has announced an event aimed at bringing families together again this summer.

On July 31 from 11am-2pm, a Teddy Bears Picnic will be hosted at Maesydre Recreation Ground.

A spokesperson said: “There is a small entry fee, with lots for children and families to get involved with, including puppet shows, fun fair, inflatables and much more. Bringing along a picnic is encouraged.”

Admission will be £1, but children will get in for 50p if they bring their favourite teddy.
