Events return to Llanfyllin Workhouse this weekend

A major local venue reopens its doors this weekend for the first time in 18 months.

Llanfyllin Workhouse will host a Best of British Arts and Craft Fair with free entry on both Saturday and Sunday to encourage people to support.

The pandemic has hit the Arts sector and venues hard but it is hoped that this weekend’s Crefft Cymru event will kick start a summer of local recovery.

Doors are open from 10am-6pm with a whole range of activities from woodturning and book-binding to live music and poetry on offer.

A comprehensive programme will take place both inside and out with demonstrations, workshops and performances.
