Waterloo Rovers Football Club said they are working with a professional to sharpen up an image of the person responsible for vandalising their seats over the weekend.
The club reverted to placing a CCTV camera to cover the area after a spate of vandalism, with the latest incident happening just hours after the seats were installed on Saturday.
“We have got an image and will be working with someone to sharpen it up and hopefully identify the person responsible,” said the club’s Dave Proctor.
CCTV is proving an effective tool in the fight to protect sports facilities with Guilsfield deploying a trail camera to stop a rogue dog owner from fouling on the playing fields last summer and, just last night, Berriew Football Club identified a youngster who damaged seating within an hour of posting his image on social media.
Meanwhile, Welshpool Rugby Club players painted over graffiti that had been sprayed onto their stand over the weekend.
