Inquest opens after Chirbury death

An inquest has been opened and adjourned into the death of a Midlands man killed at Chirbury last weekend.

The man killed in a single vehicle crash last Saturday has been named as 37 year old Mark Pennell of Kingstanding in Birmingham.

The inquest was opened at Shirehall, Shrewsbury on Friday and will resume on Friday, September 14.

Police have appealed for witnesses to the incident which took place on the A490.
