Welshpool’s MyDentist debacle shows no sign of easing after the company reissued the same statement it gave us in July following another wave of complaints.

Readers have been fuming that appointments have been cancelled with no new dates offered, and this week the phone line gave a recorded message that the practice was closed.

But, the company told us, that was “an error which was resolved” but they could give no update on the dire situation over cancellations.

A spokesperson repeated: “During the pandemic the practice has been inundated with patients who need immediate and emergency dental treatment.

“The practice team is working incredibly hard to see as many patients as possible, but to cope with unprecedented demand we’ve had to make the difficult decision to postpone some routine appointments. We apologise to those patients impacted.”
