An even cheaper ticket to ride Llanfair line!

 

The offer will run as part of Welshpool’s ‘Be a Tourist Week’ in order to encourage people in the area to make the most of what has become one of Montgomeryshire’s most appealing tourist attractions.

 

The line is open every day except Monday and Friday with trains leaving Welshpool at 11.15am and 2.15pm or Llanfair Caereinion at 10am, 1pm and 3.55pm.

 

W&LLR General Manager, Terry Turner commented: “The local community has always been very supportive of our efforts over the years. This is our way of thanking them and we hope to see as many as possible taking advantage of a trip at 25 per cent of the normal return fare.”

 

To take advantage of the promotion, which runs until July 10, a utility bill must be produced as proof of residency in the local area.
