Rest in peace, “amazing” Tom

The family of the young man who sadly died in the accident close to Guilsfield on Tuesday morning has spoken of how “devastated and heartbroken” the tragedy has left them.

Thomas James Dawes, 23, was the driver of one of three vehicles involved in the accident which occurred at around 8am on the A490 just a mile from the village. 

His next of kin have been supported by specialist officers and issued the following statement:

“The family are devastated and heartbroken by the tragic loss of an amazing young man, who will be greatly missed by everyone. The family wishes to thank everyone for their kindness and support at this devastating time.”
