Castle Belles to headline Christmas concert

Popular local choir, The Castle Belles, will be performing this Saturday at a Christmas concert to raise money for the 2022 Welshpool 1940s Weekend.

Taking place at the Church House, the concert will also feature keyboard-vocalist-actor-author, Peter Gill; The Reed Between the Lines saxophone quartet; and tenor, Philip Evans.

Organisers promise music to range from traditional carols to more recent Christmas pop songs and much more with concert goers encouraged to dress festive.

Entry on the door is £10 to include a souvenir programme and interval refreshments, with pre-event tickets also available from Welshpool Jewellers.
