Welshpool is being invited to join a singalong tomorrow night (Thursday) when the students of Angel Voice Singing School hold their first Christmas Concert in three years.

After a two-month search for a safe venue, the ‘Starry Night’ performance will be held at St Mary’s Church with an open invitation for anyone to come down and join in.

“St Mary's Church is a vast and spacious venue and one that holds great history, so to be a part of that history is something that is truly outstanding for us all at AVS School. With such amazing acoustics, the students are going to have the best experience, which means that any audience in attendance will also share that experience,” said Cathy Beech, Founder and Director of Angel Voice Singing School.

“Singing has taken a considerable blow during the pandemic, and yet it is the most uplifting thing to do in times of strife.

“But we at AVS figured out a way to keep singing and this concert definitely represents the best decisions we all made.”

The concert is expected to start a 7.30pm, with tickets costing £7.50 available to be reserved through Cathy at angelvoiceschool@gmail.com
