A dog walker in the “Welshpool area” has been issued with a Community Protection Warning (CPW) by local police officers.
It follows several incidents resulting in livestock being killed or injured, and there is no indication from the local force as to whether this particular owner was responsible.
The CPN has set a number of conditions to the dog owner to prevent any further issues, police said.
“Always keep dogs on leads or under close control when out in public, especially in areas where livestock is present. It is advisable to avoid entering fields where livestock is present even if there are public footpaths passing through,” said a police spokesperson.
