Four jailed following major Welshpool drugs bust

Four Leighton Arches residents have been jailed at Mold Crown Court today for their roles in a huge drugs operation across Mid Wales.

Their appearances in court follow a major drugs bust by more than 80 officers from combined police forces at Leighton Arches as part of the County Lines drugs operation back in June 2021.

Martin Gallagher, Patrick Stokes, John Power and Michael Power, all of Leighton Arches, were jailed by Judge Niclas Parry.

Martin Gallagher was given a sentence of seven years and two months for Conspiracy to supply a Class A Drug – Cocaine.

Patrick Stokes was given eight years and nine months for conspiracy to supply cocaine .

John Power was sentenced to seven years and six months for conspiracy to supply cocaine and Michael Power, four years and six months for conspiracy to supply cocaine.
