A small local primary school that is set to close its doors as part of the Powys County Council schools’ transformation programme will be holding a farewell event next month.
Castle Caereinion Church in Wales Primary School will close for good this summer, with pupils now expected to travel outside of the village to other schools for their education.
But it will hold an open afternoon on Wednesday, June 29 from 3pm-6pm to enable past pupils to return for one last time to share stories, reminisce and take one last look around.
If you would like to attend, an RSVP must be sent by June 22 to office@castle.powys.sch.uk
