UPDATE: Police investigating Borfa Green smash

Police have confirmed that an investigation is ongoing into the smash that saw a section of hand railing destroyed on Borfa Green last night.

Residents reported hearing cars travelling at high speed throughout the evening and following the smash, one eye witness said the culprit(s) fled the scene on foot.

This afternoon, Dyfed-Powys Police confirmed an investigation has been launched and issued this statement: “We were called at around 10pm after a car had crashed through a garden wall in Borfa Green, Welshpool. The car had also taken out a stretch of metal railings.

The occupants of the vehicle left the scene following the collision. Enquiries are ongoing.”
