Llanfair Caereinion’s new £35,000 playground should be open on time tomorrow (Friday)!
Contractors have been cracking on at Glanyrafon with the town council confirming last night that it should all be completed in the next 24 hours to welcome families.
“There are new swings; with facilities for disabled and families, a new disabled friendly roundabout, a small child’s slide, and new surfacing,” Town Clerk, Robert Robinson said.
“In addition, much of the existing equipment – the climbing frame and larger slide - have been refurbished.”
Funding for the project has come directly through the Town Council as well as other sources like Awards for all Wales and Powys County Council.
The council chose specialists, Wicksteed, to carry out the project.
