Trip down memory lane this weekend
The exhibition will be featuring photographs and memorabilia of old Welshpool, and will be open from Saturday through to Monday, between 10am-4pm.
Refreshments, including homemade cakes and light lunches, will be available and there is space in the Church available for people to sit and browse through the many albums of old photographs.
On Sunday, there will be a service at 10.45am, and in keeping with the memory lane theme it will be a ‘wear your hat to church’ day for both ladies and gentlemen.
On Sunday at 2.30pm, Colin Rogers will be giving a talk with slides showing the changing face of Welshpool over the years.
Refreshments will be served afterwards, followed by a guided walk around the town (limited to 15 people).
Quiz Sheets will be available at £1 with a 1st prize of £25 - how good is your knowledge of Welshpool?
