‘Barr’ set to reopen once again!

The Welly will be open in time for Christmas after its owners said a new publican was in place.

The pub has not had the best of recent times, and its re-opening earlier this year following a facelift was shortlived.

But Punch Pubs & Co are having another crack at the Welshpool market after confirming it will be back open from December 1.

Neil Dawson, Operations Director at Punch Pubs & Co., said: “We’re delighted to confirm The Welly will be reopening from Thursday, December 1. Our new publican, Davina Barr is excited to welcome guests back and has lots planned for locals and the community to enjoy.”
