A tractor treat ahead of illuminated run

Pupils of one local primary school were given an early glimpse of what the rest of us will enjoy next weekend when the Charity Illuminated Tractor run will light up the area.

Up to 200 tractors are expected to blaze a colourful trail through the area next Sunday evening, but in the meantime, children at Leighton Community Primary School enjoyed a special treat.

Tractor Run organisers Jenny and Kevin Clarke are parents of the school so provided children with a wonderful opportunity to get up close to one of the stars of next week’s event.

Around 72 children were extremely happy to see the tractor, getting them into the Christmas spirit.

The Charity Illuminated Tractor Run will take place next Sunday evening, starting and finishing at Welshpool Livestock Sales. More details later in the week.
