Medals revealed for Welshpool 10K

This year’s stunning medals for the Welshpool 10K have been revealed, as organisers confirm entries are flooding in for the March 26 event.

Last year, almost 1,000 runners took part, providing a glorious spectacle that started and finished in the middle of town, and the 2023 edition looks set to be just as popular.

“The 2023 medals have landed and they are big, heavy and beautiful,” said lead organiser Alan Lewis, from Adrenaline Sporting Events.

“Entries are starting to come in so we are expecting another successful day.”

The design features Powis Castle with the 10k passing through the stunning estate for a large chunk of the route.

Entry numbers are capped for safety reasons, so the advice is to enter sooner rather than later through www.adrenalinesportingevents.co.uk to ensure your spot. The cost is similar to last year at £22.50 and the event is supported by headline sponsors SJ Roberts and Lowfield Timber Frames Ltd.

Alan also confirmed that entries are coming in for the inaugural Newtown 10k on May 21 and the Lake Vyrnwy Half Marathon in September.
