Welshpool Town Council will be hosting another Easter Egg Hunt around the town centre next month, and hopes the big supermarket chains can help them out.
Morrisons have donated some Cream Eggs for children competing the challenge, but with over 100 expected to take part, based on last year’s figures, more chocolate treats are required.
At last week’s Events and Tourism meeting, events co-ordinator Kim Wright explained that the format would follow last year's when children collected a clue sheet from the Tourist Information Centre before finding the required 11 letters in shop windows to form a mystery word(s).
This year’s free Easter Egg Hunt will take place on Friday the 7th and Saturday 8th April.
