Organisers of the Welshpool 1940s Weekend have revealed that original cast members from the hit comedy series ’Allo ’Allo will be a part of the celebration.

Gruber, Helga & Herr Flick will be in town mixing with revellers, signing autographs and taking selfies on Saturday, September 30, and Sunday, October 1.

'Allo 'Allo! was smash hit BBC comedy back in the 1980’s and focused on the life of a French café owner in the town of Nouvion, during the German occupation of France in the Second World War.

It is currently being repeated on several satellite and freeview television channels, introducing the characters to a whole new generation of fans.

So who will be coming to town?

Guy Domville Siner is an American-born English actor best known for his role as Lieutenant Huber Gruber. He also played Dr. Mittenhand in Leprechaun 4: In Space.

Kim Lesley Hartman is an English actress, best known for her role as Private Helga Greehart. She has also appeared in Casualty, The Brittas Empire and Grange Hill. She is also an established stage actor and has appeared on a number of radio plays.

Richard Gibson is an English actor, best known for his role as the archetypal Gestapo Officer Herr Otto Flick. He has also played a wide variety of roles on stage and the TV screen.
