A singing Christmas tree’t at St Mary’s Saturday

Welshpool is in for a treat this weekend when a group of singers famed for singing at the Principality Stadium before Six Nation Wales rugby matches perform at St Mary’s Church.

The Cantorian Sirenian Singers will be opening the Christmas Tree Festival this Saturday from 7pm, with tickets selling fast.

As well as being well known to rugby fans, the Cantorian Sirenian Singers are a former World Choir of the Year winner at the International Eisteddfod in Llangollen.

They will also be on S4C on Christmas Eve at 7pm as part of Dechrau Canu Dechru Canmol (Start Singing, Start Praising).
