Police appeal after man struck by car in early hours

Dyfed-Powys Police are calling for the public's help to find out what happened in the run-up to a 29-year-old man being struck by a car in the early hours yesterday.

The A483 road towards Berriew was closed for most of the day after the incident at around 5am after the “collision involved a pedestrian and a gold Volvo car”.

“The 29-year-old male pedestrian was taken to hospital,” said a spokesperson.

“Anyone with information that could help officers with their investigation, or anyone who was travelling along the road at the relevant time with dashcam footage, is asked to report it to Dyfed-Powys Police, either online at https://bit.ly/DPPContactOnline, by emailing 101@dyfed-powys.pnn.police.uk, or by calling 101.
