No ‘sex incident’ at Berriew event

Police say there will not be an investigation after receiving reports of “inappropriate sexual contact” at a Halloween event in Berriew on Friday night.
Police were called to the event and the area was cordoned off but this morning they have confirmed that there will not be any investigation.
A spokesperson said: “Police attended a call following an event at Berriew Community Centre. There were concerns that inappropriate sexual contact may have taken place but subsequent inquiries revealed this had not been the case.”
