‘L’ of a start for KFC!

KFC has confirmed that it will be throwing open its finger lickin’ wings tomorrow (Friday) to welcome Welshpool to its new branch, but has made one ‘l’ of a ‘cock’-up with its launch flyer.

The American fast food chain is joining McDonalds and Starbucks by opening a branch on the Buttington Roundabout development, with Costa Coffee set to also enter the market there.

It has launched a flyer campaign to let local people know of the date, but has mis-spelt its new location as Rhalt Lane, instead of Rhallt Lane, 12 times on the vouchers.

On the plus side for fast food lovers, KFC looks ready to roll up its sleeves and take on the might of McDonalds by offering cheaper deals to start.

Last week, KFC told us: “We can’t wait to become part of the community, welcoming new team members and serving up our finger lickin’ chicken - tidy!”

They have confirmed that 40 jobs will be created and will open from 10am-11pm seven days a week.
