An award has been created by the Farmers Union of Wales in memory of Welshpool journalist Bob Davies.
The Bob Davies Memorial Award was presented to BBC TV presenter Adam Henson, who was chosen for a 'pognant' report on bovine TB testing on his Cotswold farm.
Mr Davies had been Farmers Weekly Wales correspopndent for 44 years, working out of his Welshpool home, before his death last year aged 69.
Mr Gareth Vaughan, president of the Farmers Union Of Wales, said the award would be presented annually at the Royal Welsh Show to honour a media personality who has raised the public profile of Welsh farming.
