Iolo to give Welshpool talk for a fiver
Iolo has become a fixture on our television screens over the past two decades, sharing his expertise about the world of wildlife with millions of people.
But 200 tickets have gone on sale today for just a fiver, for an event at Welshpool Town Hall from 7pm, Monday, February 26, that will see Iolo talk about the “Wildlife of Mid Wales”.
Town Councillor, Alison Davies, said she was delighted that the expert naturalist agreed to squeeze the date into his busy international schedule to help raise money for the Urdd Eisteddfod, taking place near Meifod in May.
“We are extremely fortunate that Iolo has agreed to do this and hope to raise as much as we can for such an important event for the area,” said Cllr Davies.
