Rotary to hold AGM Wednesday
It follows another successful summer carvery lunch at the Hand and Diamond earlier this month for past and present members.
They were joined by Beth Murray, District Governor of District 1180, who emphasised the need for Rotary to encompass young and old and to value changes but to revere traditional values.
Meanwhile, Inner Wheel members held their summer outing meeting at Café Wylfa at Chirk on May 20 at the invitation of the President, Mrs Susan Williams.
Plans were finalised for the International Coffee morning on Saturday, May 24 at Montgomery Town Hall. Proceeds will go to the Halo (Mines Awareness) Trust.
Their next meeting is on June 17 (Handover) with the venue to be confirmed nearer the time.
