Bookslam winners!

Year 5 and 6 pupils from Brynhafren School, Crew Green, have won the National Bookslam Competition in Aberystwyth.

They competed in Powys first, becoming Powys champions, before going on to participate in the National competition, scoring an impressive 93/100.

Bookslam is a competition run by the Welsh Books council to promote the love of reading in children.

The group have won £200 to spend on books and to have an author visit their school.
