Another big name books Llanfair gig!

Llanfair Caereinion has done it again!

Just months after the brilliant sold-out gig featuring the lead singer from iconic noughties band Starsailor, the town is set to welcome another big name, this time from the Britpop 90s scene.

James Walsh’s solo appearance in March was a night to remember, playing all the hits from his band as well his own music that underlined his reputation as a first-class performer.

And now, Nigel Clark, the front man for Dodgy, is expected to do the same with a night of acoustic hits, old and new, planned for The Institute on October 25.

“Nigel is a founding member of the 90’s indie rock band Dodgy and he has over 30 years in the music business,” a spokesperson for James-Evans Promotions told us.

“From achieving hits with songs like ‘Staying Out for the Summer’ and ‘Good Enough’, which soundtracked the summers of 1995 and 1996, Nigel is still touring with Dodgy and has also built up a strong following for his solo gigs.

“He plays all the Dodgy classics, some very special cover versions and songs from his solo albums. Expect great stories from his musical past too!”

The night is expected to sell out with tickets now on sale by clicking here.
