Welshpool nature reserve closes after vandalism

A Welshpool Nature Reserve has had to close today after vandals left it “unsafe for visitors”.

The mindless attack on such a peaceful oasis happened last Friday and Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust has vowed to fix the problem and have it reopened.

“Sadly, we have had to temporarily close Severn Farm Pond after extensive vandalism has left the nature reserve unsafe for visitors,” said a spokesperson for the Trust.

“When we are able to once again open the reserve, we will put out an update, but please bear with us.”
