Little Acorns Day Nursery in Welshpool are having an open day this Saturday to raise money for the ‘Life of Riley’ charity.
The facility on Howell Drive is opening its doors for people to have a look around, learn about the services available whilst enjoying refreshments.
The Feathers Association will also be putting on activities for children to enjoy.
The day will be raising money for a charity that is close to the heart of the nursery’s Deputy Manager, Kerry Evans, whose nephew, Riley Evans, sadly died in 2023 after a courageous fight with Burkitt Lymphona, a rare and aggressive form of blood cancer.
“We are holding a raffle with amazing prizes up for grabs and all proceeds from the day will go to the ‘Life of Riley’ charity, which is very close to our hearts,” said Kerry.
The Open Day will take place from 10am-2pm.
