Welshpool residents are being asked for their opinions on how they want the annual Remembrance Parade to run, with an open meeting this Thursday.
The event is a proud occasion for Welshpool, with a parade of ex-servicemen and women, community groups and officials through the town followed by a Service of Remembrance in St Mary’s Church.
And at 1.30pm on Thursday in the Corn Exchange at the Town Hall, anyone can contribute as to how they feel that this year’s, and future events, should be shaped.
The council said all fresh ideas are welcome.
MyWelshpool understands also that this year’s parade will again be without a marching band due to lack of availability, unless a member of the public has a suggestion.
