Timetable for Welshpool’s Winter Festival Saturday

There will be plenty of festive fun when the Welshpool Winter Festival returns tomorrow (Saturday), from 1pm to 6pm.

Organisers, Welshpool Town Council, promise that this year’s event will be ‘bigger, brighter, and more magical than ever’.

Visitors can browse a fantastic range of food and craft stalls, offering everything from delicious seasonal treats to unique handmade gifts – perfect for your Christmas shopping. You’ll also find even more Christmas craft stalls inside the Indoor Market.

Children can visit the petting zoo, and visitors of all ages can enjoy a packed stage programme of music and festive entertainment throughout the afternoon. The event line-up is as follows:

• 1pm – Event opened by the Mayor of Welshpool
• 2pm – Ysgol Gymraeg Y Trallwng choir
• 2.30pm – Winter Festival Choir
• 3pm – Salopian Brass Band
• 3.45pm – Angel Voice UK singers
• 4.15pm – Winter Festival Choir
• 4.45pm – Salopian Brass Band
• 5pm – Christmas lights switch-on

A special highlight for little ones is a visit to Santa’s Grotto in the Corn Exchange for free, where every child will also receive a gift from Santa himself.
