Final 1940s bingo of the year on Tuesday
There will be 10 games of prize bingo followed by a cash flier and whether you win a line or a house, you get to choose your winning prize.
Everyone is invited to bring their own buffet and there will be a raffle and Christmas music all in aid of the 1940s Weekend and ENSA Memorial.
Meanwhile, The Lost Railway Stations of Montgomeryshire calendars are almost sold out with the remainder available from Welshpool Jewellers, Riffels Music Shop, Alexanders, Sue Averis in the Market Hall and Welshpool Tourist Information Centre.
Priced at £5, the calendars contain photos of forgotten railway stations like Forden, Buttington, Pool Quay, Arddleen, Llanfyllin, Kerry, Abermule to name a few. Sold to raise money for Welshpool 1940s, they make for an ideal stocking filler.
The 2026 Welshpool 1940s Weekend will be held from September 25-27 to include the Longest Yarn Exhibition.
