Buttington Trewern’s ‘wrap’ stars

The hall at Buttington Trewern C.P. School was filled with laughter, music and festive cheer this Christmas as pupils proudly presented their 2025 production, Wrap Like an Elf.

The lively performance followed a group of determined elves learning the important art of teamwork, kindness and Christmas spirit as they prepared for the busiest night of the year.

Packed with catchy songs, humorous moments and confident performances, the show delighted families, friends and members of the local community.

Pupils from Year 3 to Year 6 took part, showcasing their acting, singing and storytelling skills, while staff worked behind the scenes to bring the production together.

The performance reflected the school’s ethos of Living and Learning – Darganfod a Dysgu, with pupils demonstrating creativity, collaboration and confidence on stage.

Headteacher Anna Griggs and staff praised the children for their enthusiasm and hard work, noting how proud they were of the way every pupil contributed to such a joyful and memorable event.

“Wrap Like an Elf was a wonderful celebration of the festive season and a heart-warming reminder of the talent and community spirit at the heart of Buttington Trewern School.
