A week before the Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Austria, Welshpool will be taking a trip down memory lane with a Eurovision Party of its own on May 9.
The town will be celebrating 70 years of the popular song contest to raise money for the Welshpool 1940s Weekend.
To be held at the Church House, the evening will include archive film footage of different UK entries over the 70 years plus other popular winners from other countries; a knife & fork supper featuring produce from various European countries, a fun quiz, best decorated Eurovision themed table, followed by a vintage DJ with music from 60s 70s & 80s.
There will be Eurovision room decor and patrons are invited to come along dressed in the colours of different European countries flags or in their national costume.
Admission is £10 on the door (cash) and you can bring your own drinks.
Doors open 7pm for 7.30pm start.
