Civic Society opens new season with Ann Griffiths talk

Newtown and District Civic Society will begin its 2026-27 season with a talk about the life and work of Ann Griffiths.

Dewi Roberts will present “Ann Griffiths, Dolwar Fawr: Aspects of her life and work” at the society’s first meeting of the season.

The meeting will take place at 2pm on Tuesday, 8 September, at the Crescent Christian Centre on Milford Road, Newtown.

Admission is free for members and £3 for non-members.
