Red Bank in Welshpool has started three days of closure for traffic and restricted access for residents to enable highway maintenance to take place.
Residents living in the affected area have been told by Powys County Council that their movement will be restricted between 7.30am and 3.30pm until Friday.
“Unfortunately, vehicle access to and from properties within the closure area will be restricted while works are in progress,” Cllr Graham Breeze shared on his Facebook page.
“Wherever possible, essential access will be accommodated in consultation with residents, but some delays should be expected.”
Diversions will be clearly signposted, and council officers will deal with any specific access requirements such as medical visits, care support, or deliveries during the closure.
