Local field with permission for 25 homes hits the market

Prime residential development land with outline planning permission and reserved matters approved for 25 homes on the edge of Middletown is being offered for sale by informal tender with a guide price of £500,000.

Plans for the sloping, 4.4-acre site comprise a mixed development of detached and semi-detached houses, ranging from two to five bedrooms, with countryside views and direct access to the A458 between Welshpool and Shrewsbury.

The land, which is on offer with agents Halls, has outline planning permission and reserved matters approved for the development which includes five affordable homes.

The land is currently used as permanent pasture and forms part of a larger sloping field adjacent to All Saints Church on the eastern perimeter of the village. A further 13.3 acres of agricultural land adjacent to the site may be available for sale by separate negotiation.
