Llanfair win big cup derby

Llanfair won the Welsh Trophy showdown against neighbours Carno and there was cup success for most of the local sides.
Llanfair made home advantage pay in a 3-1 win while Berriew went through 3-0 at Llandrindod. Llansantffraid beat Presteigne 4-2, Trewern beat Machynlleth 2-1 and Llanrhaeadr proved too strong for Montgomery with a 4-1 win.
Guilsfield crashed 3-0 at Flint in the Huws Gray Alliance while Welshpool took full advantage of their rivals being on cup duty with a 3-0 win at Aberaeron in the Spar Mid Wales League
