Guilsfield take top spot
In a match that was a fine advert for the league despite the poor conditions, Danny Barton headed Guilsfield into the lead early before Crosses levelled through a Josh Biggs penalty. The game was settled by a 68th minute winner from Harry Garthwaite.
But Bishop’s Castle are looming ominously in second after picking up a crucial 2-1 win at Waterloo Rovers who earlier levelled through Gaz Turner. Niall Thomas and Sam Jones scored for Castle who are just a point behind the leaders with a game in hand.
Caersws Reserves won 3-2 at Meifod to ease their problems at the bottom while Maesyrhandir and Llanfyllin shared four goals.
Forden United remain three points clear in Mitsubishi Two after winning 3-1 at Trefonen while Llangedwyn stay hot on their heels with victory at Abermule Reserves.
