Guilsfield twice came from behind and then snatched a dramatic 90th minute winner in the JD Welsh Cup at Holywell.
Asa Hamilton was Guilsfield’s hero and villain, grabbing the winner and then getting sent off along with Holywell’s Gareth Sudlow in a crazy end to a cracking cup tie.
Former Guilsfield defender Jon Jones gave Holywell the lead in the first half only to see Adam Jenkins put the sides level on 64 minutes and extra time looked likely until an amazing clos8ng thee minutes.
Steve Lewis thought he had won it for Holywell in the 87th minute only to see Jenkins square things again on 88 minutes and Hamilton win it in the 90th.
Caernarfon Town were reeling from the shock of losing manager Iwan Williams to Welsh Premier League side Llandudno but still ended Berriew’s cup homes. Karl Seliarts got the village side’s only goal. Llanrhaeadr pulled off a shock be beating Caersws 2-1,
